Wayne and Patsy Gibson are retired from Colombia, but they still minister to the Piapoco people of Colombia. “An effort has been made by some Wycliffe Associates in South America who recently held an Introduction to Translation Workshop with 16 Piapoco men attending. This will be a long project requiring numerous training sessions, equipment and funds for the translators. We await more news on what will be decided in that respect. We appreciate your prayers for this potential Old Testament project.

“Wayne continues working on the commentary of the Gospel of John in Piapoco/Spanish for the Piapoco church leaders. We are also in communication almost daily with various Piapoco believers and teams in both countries. A commentary of the Gospel of Matthew is also in the plan for the Piapocos.”
